Christ is born! Glorify Him! HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
Yep, those were the popular phrases this year at camp. Although, I guess they are at every winter camp we do. But this one was special, because we saw the switch to 2008! Of course, I guess the new year always arrives during winter camp.
Ok, so I can’t think of anything unprecedented. Yes – we had a great time. Yes – many games of Taboo, Chess, and Euchre were played. Yes – I’m still sore from all the glorious football we played. You know what? I’m glad it was the same, because who wants a good thing to change? If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.
Here’s what we’re gonna do. Instead of me giving you a summary of everything that happened and trying to put it into words, especially since most of the words I use do not exceed 5 or 6 letters, I’m going to let you experience it for yourself. I’m going to take you on a journey to about a week ago, when we were preparing for another awesome weekend out in the wilderness of southern Indiana. I’m going to blow your mind by letting you actually experience the same things we experienced.
How is this possible? Well, don’t get your hopes up too high. Obviously I’m just going to post photos and audio from camp and make some comments along the way. Enjoy!

Snack time! The first night at camp, we feasted on a glorious array of sweet and salty snacks. Don’t worry, we got plenty of exercise playing silent football.

So, what do you do when there’s no snow on the ground at winter camp? Brush up on your card & board game skills.
We had a great musical crew to lead praise time:
How about some random shots of campers having a great time? You got it:
